AlterCOP, an independent global movement to complement COPs
AlterCOP aims to keep corporations and the public informed of the proceedings and outcomes of COPs, facilitate discourse and knowledge sharing on sustainability in a local context, foster collaboration among various stakeholders (including professionals, academics, young people, non-governmental organisations, community groups and policymakers) and inspire action.
Although AlterCOP originated in Singapore in 2024, it has been a global initiative since its inception, as only through global cooperative trust, yet locally grounded solutions, can we achieve a fair future for humanity. AlterCOP is expanding into other countries through local partners. In 2025, we were present in 10 countries. Join our Network for 2026 and beyond!

Art helps us make emotional bonds to relate differently to topics at hand, opens our minds to rethink, redesign our systems & organisations and visualise possible futures.
As climate impacts grow, youths will suffer the greatest consequences. How can they take meaningful climate action together, and gain the necessary skills and resources?
Inclusive climate action ensures no one is left behind. Our agenda gives voice to women, indigenous, underprivileged and vulnerable communities to drive fair, effective, and equitable solutions.
Ensuring COP coverage throughout AlterCOP - clarifying countries’ NDC challenges and how the private sector can align, support, and accelerate climate commitments.
Embracing Climate Action at scale requires a change in mindset and an economy ready to onboard the talents needed to drive the change.
