Bringing AlterCOP to Malaysia: A Local Movement with Global Relevance
After a lively one-day debut in 2024, and a bold event in 2025 that gathered 620+ people at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, AlterCOP is returning to Malaysia in November 2026.
AlterCOP 2026 Kuala Lumpur brings communities, academics, professionals, NGOs, and youth together to connect, learn, share, and take action for a better future.
While world leaders met in Turkiye for COP31, we brought the global climate conversation home, creating a space where ideas spark, connections grow, and local action makes a global difference.
Over three inspiring days, we shall explore what matters most to Malaysia: a just energy transition, biodiversity & nature-based solutions, circular economy, and social equity. It’s not just about big policies — it’s about real stories, local solutions, and voices that deserve to be heard.
For this coming edition entirely powered by the Asia School of Business and passionate volunteers who believe that real climate action starts with people like us, will be open to everyone ready to be part of it.
