Bringing AlterCOP to New Zealand: A Climate Movement for All
In 2024 AlterCOP 29 in Singapore brought together over 2,300 participants and 250 speakers across 130 sessions, proving that meaningful, high-impact climate engagement can happen outside traditional structures—and thrive. This year, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is delighted to be working with Emily Mabin Sutton to bring AlterCOP's vision to New Zealand to empower local sustainability actions and partnerships.
As New Zealand represents one of the key enablers of Climate Action in the APAC region, Climate Club Aotearoa, Climate Crew, Climate Training Co and BetterBytes are delighted to bring AlterCOP's vision to New Zealand to raise awareness of COP, climate science, and prompt more action.
