Bringing AlterCOP to Spain
In 2024, AlterCOP 29 in Singapore brought together over 2,300 participants and 250 speakers across 130 sessions, proving that meaningful, high-impact climate engagement can happen outside traditional structures—and thrive. This year, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is partnering with the 3rd edition of the MuralFest , thus extending AlterCOP's vision to Spain to empower local sustainability actions and partnerships.
AlterCOP Spain and MuralFest#3 bring you an opportunity to participate in collage-type workshops, learn about environmental topics and understand how to take action to reduce our environmental footprint on the planet. And as with all festivals, there will be music, parties, and other artistic activities!
3 days to enjoy, learn, connect with the Sustainability ecosystem in Barcelona and beyond!
Why it matters
Cambodia is among the countries most vulnerable to climate change — facing floods, droughts, and rising temperatures that endanger livelihoods. But it’s also a nation of growing climate ambition, with renewed commitments under its NDC and rising local initiatives for sustainability. AlterCOP Cambodia aims to amplify these efforts, connect people, and spark new solutions for resilience.
