Bringing AlterCOP to Indonesia: A People-Powered Climate Movement

As Indonesia represents one of the key enablers of Climate Action in the APAC region, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is delighted to bring AlterCOP's vision to Indonesia to empower local sustainability action and partnerships.

While world leaders prepare for COP30 in Brazil, AlterCOP30 Indonesia offers a space for local voices to come together and respond to our own climate challenges — rooted in everyday realities and powered by collective action. As Indonesia represents one of the key enablers of Climate Action in the APAC region, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is delighted to bring our vision to Indonesia to empower local sustainability action and partnerships.

AlterCOP30 Indonesia is a one-day climate gathering that brings together people from all walks of life — from students to professionals, creatives to researchers — to talk, learn, connect, and act on climate change. Organised by a volunteer team of Climate Fresk facilitators, this event is a a space built by the people, for the people.
