Bringing AlterCOP to Philippines: Adding Local Solutions to Global Action

Bringing AlterCOP to Philippines: Adding Local Solutions to Global Action

As the Philippines represents one of the key enablers of Climate Action in the APAC region, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is delighted to bring back AlterCOP's vision to the Philippines to empower local sustainability action and partnerships.

AlterCOP30 Philippines is a community-driven conference that connects Filipinos to COP30 right where they are. Bridging the global to the local makes international climate discussion accessible and actionable. This local platform for COP30 commentary and analysis opens space for dialogue, collaboration, and commitment on regenerative futures and good governance.

As an island nation deeply impacted and determined to lead, Filipinos take climate action through bayanihan (spirit of community and mutual support), anchored to our realities and ambitions. Advancing sustainability should happen as quickly and inclusively as possible, which is why most stage sessions come at no cost.
