Bringing AlterCOP to Portugal
This first AlterCOP event in Portugal will bring together experts, institutions, and communities to explore how societies can strengthen their resilience in the face of a changing climate. The discussion will focus on wildfire risk, community adaptation, and shared responsibility for climate futures.
This event marks the first AlterCOP in Portugal and aims to create a space for constructive dialogue between academia, civil society, policymakers, and community actors — with a strong emphasis on local realities and community-based approaches to climate resilience.
